easy peasy lemon squeezy

Allow me to say this as directly as possible.

I LOVE THESE WIPES

When Kaia Naturals first contacted me to review their Juicy Bamboo Cleansing Cloths, I was immediately on board.  I love everything about this Canadian-based company, so it made my answer an easy yes.

Jump ahead to almost six weeks later, and my skin is reaping the healthy benefits.

I've been testing a lot of products lately - this includes mass, luxury and clean beauty products - and my skin has reacted to different variations in all of the above categories.

MY POINT IS

You have to play around and discover the best product for you.

My skin is very sensitive to beauty products containing high levels of Vitamin C.

Not sure why.

So I was a little nervous to test these wipes.

I am happy to report that these cleansing cloths eased redness and calmed my skin.

And there was no reaction in sight.

i love mother earth

What makes Kaia Naturals Bamboo Cleansing Cloths so special?

Well ladies, today is Earth Day!

These babies are not only 99% organic - not to mention safe and effective - they also happen to be 100% biodegradable.

LET'S REVIEW

Bamboo is considered to be one of the fastest growing plants in the world.  Certain species of bamboo can grow up to 3 feet in a 24 hour period.  That's crazy!

I was shocked to discover that bamboo is in fact a plant and not a tree.  It doesn't require the use of pesticides because of its strength and it reproduces itself after harvest.

The coolest thing about Kaia Naturals is this...

When you're done with your cleansing cloth, you can literally plant it.

WHAT

That's right.  Simply burry it in soil and it will be gone in 90 days.

heal and protect your skin

Bamboo is used in traditional Chinese medicine to heal infection.

This might explain why my skin didn't react, but there are so many other vitamins and nutrients to consider as well.  I'm a sucker for natural skincare and I have been known to spend entire Sunday afternoons researching essential oils and combining them to produce my own beauty balms.

These cleansing cloths are soaked in organic honey and jojoba oil.  When you open the container, you can literally smell the amazing benefits.  The scent is natural and fresh.

I love that Kaia Naturals has designed their facial wipes to easily remove makeup and a day's worth of environmental chaos while moisturizing and nourishing the skin.

They don't leave behind a heavy residue or make you feel oily.

these babies are staple worthy

Out of all the products I've tried in the last few months, these cleansing cloths are my favourite.

I might be obsessed with skincare, but I am notoriously lazy when it comes to my nightly beauty routine.  There are just so many variables!

Do I really want to get out of bed to wash my face?!??!

Kaia Naturals makes it easy and convenient.

I like to use them after my runs, not only to remove toxins from the skin but just as a general refresh, and they are a great addition to any gym or travel bag.

I would definitely recommend these wipes to pro makeup artists as well.  They are perfect for your professional kit and your clients will absolutely love them.

I can just imagine the pleasant reactions now.

MY ONLY WISH

I really want these cleansing cloths to be bigger.

Ideally, I wish there were two sizes to choose from, because you don't always need a massive makeup wipe, but sometimes you do.

Post beauty shoot, I always need to use two - or even three - to get the job done.

However, I do take solace in knowing that if I just burry these babies in the backyard, it doesn't matter how many I use.

In honour of Earth Day - go buy these wipes

They really are amazing.
